Our Policies


The Honeymoon Trail Inn is an intimate property where every guest reservation is both important and special to us. If your travel plans change and you must cancel your reservation, please call us at least 7 (seven) days* prior to your arrival date to cancel your reservation. In the unlikely event that you must cancel with less than seven (7) days* notice, shorten your stay or check out early, please understand that we must ask you to take responsibility for your entire reservation. If we can rebook your room(s), a full or partial refund will be made. Rates/policies are subject to change and vary during high impact periods and special requests. *A 30 day cancellation notice is required on whole house bookings and for some holidays and special events.



Check-in: 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM. If arriving outside of check-in times, please call tomake arrangements. Check in by appointment is preferred. Check-out: 10:00 AM-12:00 Noon. Please understand that we must prepare the room for our next guest so vacating by noon is appreciated.



Absolutely No Smoking inside; however designated outdoorsmoking areas are available. Please, no open flames in the room. Please, for your safety, no climbing on the rocks. No Pets. Please call for help in making arrangements to board your pet. This property is for adults only.

Special situations allow for small children, please call to make arrangements.


Full Cancellation Policy: First of all, we would like to thank you for your interest in our Romantic Escape. At the time of our reservation, and upon completion of the Authorization Form, your credit card will be charged, in full, for your reservation. This is done to help us provide you with all the amenities, costs and set up for your room. Understanding that your plans may change, we extend a full refund to all guests if Honeymoon Trail Inn is given 7 (seven) business days advanced notice to your cancellation. We accept cancellation notifications via e-mail, facsimile and telephone. If less than 7 (seven) days advance is given for your cancellation, Honeymoon Trail Inn will refund our guests up to 50% of the charge. Because our amenities are the highest quality, we cannot extend full refunds for cancellations that are less than 7 (seven) business days in advance from the reservation date. Sales Tax: Here in Washington City, our sales tax is currently 6.25%. We are also required to charge our guests a transient tax of 4.25%.
